Formation Tour #motd

This last Monday the Formation Tour came to the Bay Area and you know I had to be there! I had about an hour window to get hair and makeup done so I went with a simple look. My favorite thing about this makeup look is my new Liquid Lipstick!! Anastasia Beverly Hills released another set of liquid lipsticks and I was drawn to Ashton. It looks mauve-ish in pictures but in person it has more of a camel/brown/orange undertone so it’s not like all the other hundreds of mauve lipsticks that are out there. I’ll likely be rocking this color for the next few months.

Products Used

Face: Loreal Infallible Pro-Matte Foundation [108], LA Girl Cosmetics Concealer [Pure Beige], Laura Mercier Loose Setting Powder [Translucent], MAC Bronzer [Give Me Sun], Colourpop Blush [Between the Sheets], MAC MSF [Soft and Gentle]

Eyes: Lorac Pro Palette 2, House of Lashes [Iconic], Benefit Roller Up Mascara, NYC Liquid Liner

Lips: MAC lip liner [Whirl], Anastasia Beverly Hills Liquid Lipstick [Ashton]

*I wanted to write a quick little update on my love for Colourpop. If you checked out my review on the blush Between the Sheets a few weeks ago, you’ll remember that I didn’t love it at first. I felt like it took a while to build the color. Well, now that I’ve been using it for a few weeks, I’m obsessed!! My trick is to really twirl my brush in the blush to get that color all over the brush (before I just dabbed my brush) and that really helps transfer the color onto your cheeks. Highly recommend it!

The concert was incredible! It’s Beyonce we’re talking about here so of course it was 😉 I hope you enjoy! xx
