May’s Birchbox Review

So I’m a tad bit late but I still wanted to get up my Birchbox Review up for May. Unfortunately, it’s going to be short and sweet and that is because I basically thought this month’s box was a fail. bb.jpg

This is what my May box looked like. The box was cute (of course) but the only thing I really liked about my box was the Beauty Protector Protect & Detangle Spray (the little red bottle). The other products were Burt’s Bees Lip Balm, Coola Classic Face Sport SPF50 White Tea Sunblock (which was half full), Cargo Blush and Bronzer Duo, and Vera Bradly Appleberry Champagne perfume.

None of these products really stood out to me. I wasn’t a fan of the smell of the Vera Bradly perfume (not Birchbox’s fault), I’ve tried Burt’s Bees before so I wasn’t that excited about the lip balm, the blush/bronzer duo is so tiny that it’s actually pretty hard to get the product out, and the sunscreen was half empty! Fail…

The Beauty Protector Protect & Detangle Spray was my favorite! I have curly hair (I’m talking poodle curly) so  I put a crap ton of conditioner in my hair because I find that no matter what, as soon as I get out of the shower, my hair is still tangled! This spray definitely helped my tangled hair and it is also a leave-in conditioner. The smell is delicious. I’m hoping June’s box is a lot more exciting than this one. Keep you all posted! xx
